When the tree is on the house
The Triangle grows tall pines and big oaks, and summer thunderstorms, hurricane remnants and winter ice bring some of them down on houses every year. When it happens you need two things fast: the house closed up against the weather, and someone who can tell you whether the structure is still sound.
We do both. Emergency board-ups and tarping come first. Then we look at what the impact actually did: broken rafters, cracked ceiling joists, damaged wall framing, siding and windows. Storm damage cleanup and the structural repair are handled by the same crew.
Not every structural problem comes from a storm. Rot from a slow leak, a sagging porch beam or a deck pulling away from the house all need the same careful approach: find the cause, support the structure, replace what failed and finish it to match.
